SANYO DENKI Develops Compact Cylinder Linear Servo Motor
With industry-leading acceleration and deceleration

SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. has developed and released a compact 20 mm wide cylinder linear servo motor.
It has industry-leading acceleration and deceleration performance, high thrust, and a compact design.
It contributes to shortening equipment cycle times and simplifying system design for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, inspection equipment, and assembly equipment.

SANMOTION Linear Servo Motor


1. Compact, with High Thrust

This 20 mm wide linear motor is an all-in-one product with a built-in linear encoder and linear guide.
It has a stroke length of 50 mm and a maximum thrust of 50 N.

2. Industry-leading Acceleration and Deceleration

It achieves a peak acceleration of 416 m/s2, which is the highest in the industry.(1)
Its improved acceleration and deceleration performance can shorten the cycle time of customer equipment.

3. Multiple Axes Can Be Placed Adjacent to One Another

By minimizing magnetic interaction, multiple linear motors can be installed next to each other.
The motors can be configured more freely, allowing systems to be downsized and simplified.
