SANYO DENKI Develops 400 VAC Multi-Axis Servo Amplifier

SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. has developed new AC servo amplifiers, expanding the lineup of the SANMOTION R 3E Model series.
This servo amplifier has been equipped with a function for predicting equipment failures using the operating data of the amplifier and motor.
It can operate 5.5 to 30 kW motors smoothly, making it ideal for equipment such as machine tools and injection molding machines.

1. Flexible and space-saving system configuration
Multiple amplifier units can be selected for combining with one power supply unit to build a multi-axis servo amplifier.
This flexibility allows you to configure the optimal servo amplifier for your needs while minimizing the footprint.
2. High-speed EtherCAT fieldbus communication
With a 100 Mbps high-speed and highly reliable communication, the EtherCAT fieldbus* achieves smooth device operation.
It enables the real-time sharing of encoder position information within the control unit, increasing the precision of motor synchronous operation.
It also boosts the output of motors in parallel operation as well.
3. Eco-efficient
Motor regenerative power can be used to drive other motors, contributing to improving device energy efficiency.
* Fieldbus is an all-digital, serial communications protocol used for communications among field devices and to the controller.
