San Ace
What is your ECCN number? |
---|
ECCN#: EAR99 |
What is Harmonization Code of your product? |
Harmonization Codes for our fans: 8414.59.6590 - All fans except Blowers and Centrifugal Fans |
What are UL/CSA certification of your fans ? |
For Fans and Blowers, please use E46810 as UL File Number. For PWM Controller, please use E488540 as UL File Number. For San Ace Controller, please use E506502 as UL File Number. |
What is your RoHS Directive Compliance Status? |
SANYO DENKI products listed in this website conform to the EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and EU 2015/863 as follows. These Directives restrict the following ten hazardous substances: cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE, DEHP, BBP, DBP, and DIBP. Please see details https://products.sanyodenki.com/info/rohs/en/index.html |
What is the difference between the rib or absence of the pan. |
"The rib" is a form to reinforce a hall with a frame. ※ Aluminum frame products do not have ribs because there is sufficient frame strength <Precautions> |
What are the PWM controller function of the fan |
We change duty ratio (pulse width) of pulse signal to input between PWM control line and minus line of fan and are
function to control rotation speed of fan from the outside. https://products.sanyodenki.com/en/sanace/controller/pwm/ |
Are there any restrictions on the direction of the fan's installation? |
There are no restrictions regarding the installation direction. All of our fan bearings are made of ball bearings. Unlike fans that use general sleeve bearings, it can be used in any installation direction, such as horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. |
How far should the fan be from the wall? |
It can be calculated by the following calculation formula. (b-d) b=wing outer diameter, d=motorboss By this formula, a distance of about 40 mm or more is recommended. |
Please tell me the relationship between the rotational speed of the fan, the air volume, and the static pressure. |
The air volume is proportional to the rotational speed. |
What is the definition of fan life |
We define the life of a fan as when the revs have been reduced to 70% or less of the initial value. Life expectancy conditions: L10 = 90% retention, ambient temperature 60°C, rated voltage, rated continuous operation, free air condition |
Tell us about the relationship between fan life and ambient temperature. |
The lifespan of the fan is affected by the ambient temperature. Normally, fans reach the end of their lifespan due to depletion and deterioration of the grease (lubricant) in the bearing, but the lifespan of the grease is greatly affected by the ambient temperature. Therefore, the higher the ambient temperature, the shorter the life expectancy of the fan. For more information, please refer to the technical data https://products.sanyodenki.com/info/sanace/en/technical_material/aboutfan.html |
Are there any precautions for long-term storage of cooling fans? |
・Storage conditions (temperature/humidity control, etc.) There is no problem with performance within the storage temperature and humidity range, but if condensation occurs due to sudden temperature changes, it may affect lubrication performance or insulation, so please be careful not to condense during preservation by using desiccant. ・Please avoid the high temperature, the humid place, the preservation in the corrosive gas state. (Storage humidity range: 20%~85%RH) ・There is not the designated storage method, but assumes a perpendicular direction as a basis. |
Why is there no CE mark for DC fans? |
There are three main types of CE marks: machine directive, EMC directive, and low voltage directive. Among them, the low-voltage directive related to the fan is applied to equipment used with alternating current 50~1000V and direct current 75~1500V. Therefore, our DC fans are not eligible. For more information, please refer to the "Safety Standards". |
What are the different types of fan sensors? |
1. Pulse Sensor A pulse sensor is a sensor that outputs two pulse waveforms per 1 revolution of the fan. It is ideal for detecting rotational speed. 2. Rock Sensor A lock sensor is a sensor that outputs the state of the fan. It is ideal for detecting whether the fan is spinning or stationary. Product: DC Fan 3. Low Speed Sensor A low speed sensor is a sensor that outputs when the rotational speed of the fan is lower than the set rotational speed. ※Applicable sensors vary depending on the model. Are Humiseal coated fans equivalent to IP** ? |
Humiseal are intended to protect the PCB from moisture and cannot meet IP standards. |
Are your fans salt spray(GR487) compatible ? |
Currently none of our catalogue standard fans are compatible with GR487 |
