SANYO DENKI Launches Grid-Connected Isolated Type SANUPS W73A
Power Conditioner for Wind Power and Hydro Power Generation Systems

March 27, 2019

SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. has developed and released the grid-connected isolated type SANUPS W73A power conditioner for wind power and hydro power generation systems.
It delivers 9.9 kW output power for 3-phase 3-wire 200 VAC systems. Combined with a wind power or hydro power generation system, it is a vital component to an emergency stand-alone power supply and off-grid power supply on isolated islands.

1. Isolated Operation Provides Power During Outages

With the isolated operation mode, AC power can be obtained from wind power or hydro power generation systems even in the event of a power outage or in places where power is not available.

2. Automatic Switching of Operation Modes

The grid-connected and isolated operation modes can be automatically switched.

3. Easy Settings

DC input voltage and power characteristics can be freely set according to the system to maximize the yield of wind and water turbines.

4. IP65-Rated Ingress Protection(2)

The W73A features superior waterproof and dustproof performance with an IP65 protection rating.

(1) Based on our own research as of March 27, 2019, among power conditioners for wind power and hydro power generation systems.

(2) The degree of protection (IP code) is defined by IEC 60529 (International Electrotechnical Commission).
▪ Completely protected against dust
▪ Protected against water jets
