SANYO DENKI Announces Two New Linear Servo Products:
Industry’s First Center Magnet Type, and
Dual Magnet Type with Industry’s Leading Acceleration

SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. has expanded the SANMOTION linear servo system lineup with the addition of two types: a center magnet type that has center magnet structure first in the industry, and a dual magnet type that features industry’s leading acceleration.
These products are suitable for applications such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, LCD manufacturing equipment, chip mounters, wire bonders, and conveyors.
Features
1. No magnetic attraction force affect on devices
A first in the industry center magnet structure linear servo motor has been developed. Magnetic attraction forces are canceled out within the motor structure, simplifying the device mechanism.
2. Industry-leading acceleration
Both types feature industry-leading acceleration of 25 G*1. It enables fast driving of devices, contributing to shorter device takt time and productivity improvement.
3. Large thrust with compact design
The center magnet type is 30% smaller, and the dual magnet type is 12% smaller than our conventional model*2. Moreover, the thrust densities of the center magnet type and the dual magnet type are 42% and 13% greater, respectively, compared with the same conventional model*2—which is the top in the industry*1.
