Impact of Novel Coronavirus on Production

1. Production at SANYO DENKI PHILIPPINES, INC.

On March 16, the Philippines government announced a lockdown of the northern island of Luzon due to the spread of COVID-19 in the country. This announcement has led to the suspension of public transportation and logistics delays throughout the island.
In response, SANYO DENKI Group has suspended the production activities of SANYO DENKI PHILIPPINES, INC. (hereinafter, the "Philippines factories") located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Luzon, effective the afternoon of March 17.

2. Future Outlook

At present, the timing for the resumption of production at the Philippine factories has yet to be determined. The production and delivery of some products will potentially be affected. We will continue to provide information and work to minimize the impact on our customers.
Our production sites in Japan are operating normally.
