SANYO DENKI Develops a Photovoltaic Inverter
with No Limit on the Number of Grid-Connected Units

April 4, 2017

SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. has developed a 3-phase PV inverter SANUPS P73J that can shorten the installation time of multi-inverter grid-connected systems.
It can be safely used outdoors with its IP65 rated waterproof and dustproof performance.

SANUPS P73J

Features

1. No limit on the number of grid-connected PV inverters

The industry’s new standard islanding detection method “frequency feedback method with step injection”(1) allows you to connect multiple units to the grid with virtually no limit on the number.
This enables to build large-scale solar systems.

2. Reduces system installation costs and time

P73J exempts you from a test required for the grid-connection agreement with power companies, greatly reducing installation costs and time. (2)

(1) A new method for detecting a power outage in the commercial grid in Japan.

(2) Certified by Japan Electrical Safety & Environment Technology Laboratories (JET)
