Features
- Powerful Performance -
1. Evolved Servo Performance
High responsiveness and effective vibration suppression enable fast, precise control, enhancing the productivity and processing quality of equipment.
The following servo performance ratings have been improved compared to our conventional products.(1)
- Speed frequency response(2): 2.2 times higher
- Positioning settling time: 8 times shorter
- Encoder resolution: 27 bit max. (battery-less)
2. Improved Reliability and Maintainability
The servo amplifier features various safety functions, such as protection against electronic component failures.
Additionally, the battery-less encoder eliminates the need for battery replacement, improving the reliability and maintainability of equipment.
3. Usable for Various Applications
The expanded product lineup now includes 400 W servo motors, an increase from 200 W motors of the conventional products.(1)
The product is suitable for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and battery-powered drive units.
4. Usable in Various Environments
Vibration resistance of the servo motor and amplifier has been improved two-fold and 20%, respectively, compared to the conventional products.(1)
The operating temperature range of the servo amplifier has been extended by 1.5 times, now covering from 0 to +60ºC.
Also, the amplifier can be used at a high altitude of 2,000 m above sea level.
With improved environmental durability, this product can be used in a variety of regions and environments.
- Eco- and User-Friendly -
1. Compact, Lightweight, and Energy-saving Design for SDGs
Compared to the conventional products,(1) the motor and amplifier have been made lighter by up to 5% and 9%, respectively, and the overall motor length has been shortened by up to 19%.
Furthermore, power loss of the motor and amplifier has been cut by up to 5% and 12.8%, respectively.
These improvements contribute to enhanced efficiency and lighter weight, extending battery life and supporting the SDGs.
2. Easy and User-friendly
Both servo motors and servo amplifiers are designed to be mounting-compatible with the conventional products(1) for easy replacement.
(1) Compared with our conventional SANMOTION R AC servo systems (servo amplifier: RS2K□□, servo motor: R2G□□).
(2) Indicates the motor's response to a speed command. A higher value indicates superior control and tracking performance.
